The Georgia Bulldogs announced today that Scott Lakatos will be secondary coach next year. Lakatos has spent the past six seasons at University of Connecticut. Whie under Lakatos the UConn secondary has put up some good numbers Under the 6 seasons that Lakatos has run the secondary they have averaged giving up 187.2 yards a game. The team has picked off an average of 15.3 passes a season and given up on average 12.6 TD's a season. Here are UGA's numbers for the same catergories last year compared to UConn over the last 6 years:
Yards per game: UGA 200.8 UConn 187.2
Interceptions: UGA 10 UConn 15.3
TD's UGA 23 UConn 12.6
