The Bulldogs could be starting a pipeline into New Jersey shortly. They already have two former Bulldogs from The Garden State, Knowshon Moreno and Kade Weston, and now have offered their second New Jersey Boy this year. Savon Huggins will join Marquise Wright as the only two players from Jersey to recieve official offers from the Bulldogs.
Huggins is a 6'0" 190 lb RB out of St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, NJ that runs 4.5 40 and is ranked as the #7 RB nationally according to Scout.com. Huggins currently has offers from 24 different schools. Georgia was the sixth SEC school to offer, joining Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. Huggins is a lock for the Rivals100 which should be out pretty soon as the Rivals250 is out already.
Huggins was on campus all day Thursday and got to see everything but the weight room, however he did get a chance to see the blueprints for the new facility that will be open for his freshman year. The highlight of Huggins trip to Athens was when he received his official offer from Coach Richt in person. Huggins came away extremely impressed with Athens and with Coach Richt, as he stated that Coach Richt did not make him any "false promises" but told him he would have to work everything.
Huggins has stated that he does not plan to make decision until signing day. Huggins is planning on narrowing down to a top 5 or top 8 by the end of summer. I feel pretty confident that the Bulldogs will make the cut.

Bulldogs offer Jersey Boy
The Bulldogs have offered another New Jersey kid by the name Marquise Wright. Wright is 6'3" 260 lb DT out of Paramus Catholic HS in Paramus, NJ. Currently Wright has offers from Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Oklahoma, Penn State and South Carolina. When Wright talked to UGASports he had this to say about the the offer from UGA "I really was not expecting an offer from Georgia at all. Honestly, it was kind of out of nowhere, so I need to find out more about the program. But it is exciting to get an offer from them." To read the entire interview by UGASports click on this link. Currently Wright is totally open about his commitment and plans on visiting all eight schools.
Wright has family in the Atlanta area so he will not be totally lost when he comes to visit to the campus. With the Bulldogs having a Junior Day on March 20th hopefully they can get Wright downto visit. Don't be surprised if Knowshon Moreno happens to be visiting Athens when Wright is in town. Maybe having one Jersey boy to another can convince him to give the Bulldogs a shot.
