Florida WR Gets Offer From Bulldogs

Mark Richt and the Georgia coaching staff officially offered Florida WR Phil Dorsett yesterday afternoon. Dorsett currently has offers from Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. Dorsett will be naming a top five when the rest of his offers come in. Currently he is putting Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina as the front runners. He is also expecting an offer from Alabama in the near future.

Dorsett has not had chance to visit any of the schools yet, but will be on Florida's campus this Thursday. He is planning on taking official visits to his top five schools in the fall once he names them. Dorsett also plans on visiting Georgia during the summer.

Two of the main reasons why Dorsett likes Georgia are that the Bulldogs run a pro-style offense and he feels this will best prepare him for the NFL. Also, Dorsett feels that the depth chart at Georgia will help him to get some early playing time.
