Mettenberger Arrested
The Georgia Bulldogs football had not been on spring break for more than a little over 48 hours when Mark Richt received a phone call about one of his players. Sophomore quarterback Zach Mettenberger was arrested early Sunday morning on five misdemeanor counts including underage possession and possession of false identificaton. Mettenberger has since been released and is set to return to court on April 27th. The arrrest could cause the Athletic Association to automatically suspend Mettenberger for one game keeping him out of the season opener against La.-Lafayette
