Michigan State received some great news yesterday with the verbal commitment of Lawrence Thomas. Thomas is rated as the #1 MLB in the country according to Scout.com. The Bulldogs had recently offered Thomas but most people saw him as an extreme long shot. Thomas has been a fan of Michigan State his whole life, it was only a matter time before he commited to them. Thomas had offers from schools all over the country which included Alabam, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Miami (FL) just to name a few.
