Bulldogs offer 2012 DT

The Bulldog coaching staff has verbally offered Dakota Bell a 6'2" 282 lb DT out of Pepperell HS in Lindale, GA. Bell was in attendance for Junior Day, he has verbal offers from Alabam, Clemson and now Georgia. He also has interest in Georgia Tech but does not have an offer yer from them. Alabama was the first to offer Bell on Feb 3rd. Bell has already visited Alabama and was at Clemson's Junior Day last week. Tennessee has also been in contact with Ball. He missed most of last year with an ankle injury.

Rusty Mansell from Scout.com rated Ball as the best sophomore that he has seen this year. Ball would be a nice addition to the Bulldog 3-4 defense.  He could end up at either DE or NT depends mostly on what happens with his weight over the next couple years. Glad though that Richt and the coaching staff already have him on their radar.
