The Bulldogs are starting to venture outside of the southern states to bring in some talent from other states. Mark Richt and the Bulldogs offered Lawrence Thomas, #1 rated ILB, of Renaissance HS in Michigan. Thomas also recieved offers from LSU and Tennesseethe same day. Lawrence can pretty much go anywhere he wants to in the country as his list of offers include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan St, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.
Thomas is supposed to be releasing a revised list soon of where he has the most interest in going. If Georgia can get on this list that would be huge. Personally, I would be pretty surprised if we have any shot at this kid. He has no connection to UGA and we are offering late compared to other schools. I have seen stranger things happen though when it comes to recruiting, so I am not counting us out until he annouces it.
