Tuitt Would Play Multiple Positions

At 6'5" 252 lbs Stephon Tuitt is the ideal defensive specimen for the 3-4 defense. Tuitt was at Junior Day for the Bulldogs and got a chance to speak with Coach Grantham and Coach Garner.  The Georgia coaches seem to think that he could play almost any position in the front seven outside of nose tackle. When Tuitt spoke with Dean Legge of Scout.com he had this to say:

“They told me I could play as many as three different spots for them, I spoke with Coach Garner and the other defensive coaches one-on-one. They said I could play will linebacker, mike linebacker or defensive end for them.”

Tuitt's current high school team plays a similar type of defense which is giving him hope that if he decides to play for the Bulldogs that he could get on the field sooner than later.

Currently Tuitt is not ready to commit anyone despite having Amarlo Herrera telling him that he needs to commit to Georgia so the two of them can play together at the next level.

Tuitt currently has offers from Georgia, Florida, Georgia Tech, Clemson and South Carolina. According to Scout.com Tuitt has a high interest in Georgia Tech but we must also remember that he just got back from Tech's campus this past Sunday. It will be interesting to see if that changes comes Monday after his Georgia trip is complete.
